As important condoms are for good sexual health, using the right condom (and the size) are equally important and lead to many complications if not used correctly. Wearing a size one too big can cause it to fall off while wearing a smaller one, well would just break. Here's what to do to enjoy sex to the fullest.

Using any kind of contraception is important and condoms are the most popular ones used. Wearing an ill-fitted one can not only be uncomfortable but also compromise on the safety aspect, increasing the risk of STDs. Hence, it is important to get the sizing right.

Just like for clothing, sizing matters when it comes to contraception as well. Condoms tend to sell in the usual Small, Medium, Long and Slim types. The important thing to remember is that 'one size fits all' doesn't apply here. A Medium size variant can differ from one person to another. If you are still unsure, you can always get the variety pack.

The best way possible to identify the size is measuring yourself. Doctors and experts suggest using a regular measuring tape to figure out the length and girth of the penis and choose the best fit. However, make sure to ensure that the condom fits snug and doesn't break off when pulled off around the base.

Lubrication is very important and useful when it comes to enjoying the act of sex. Condoms, too are prone to a bit of friction and can tear apart easily, if not used correctly. Hence, lube helps in adding to the comfort. It is suggested that the condom is well lubricated, especially on the outside. Avoid using oils and lotions which would break the condom sheath.
