Arezu's Predicament is the seventh Main Mission in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The Arezu's Predicament walkthrough includes tips for upcoming battles, story summaries, and more to help you on your journey in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Starting Arezu's Predicament

You begin at the Wallflower with Professor Laventon and Akira or Rei. Here you’ll obtain the recipe for Smoke Bombs. As you leave, a girl called Vessa will approach you, give you an Odd Keystone and ask you to gather the Wisps (all 107 of them) scattered around.

One will be located across the river for you to pick up, so cross the bridge and collect this one. When you pick up the Wisp, the Odd Keystone will absorb it. This will also unlock the request Eerie Apparition in the Night.

The next day, outside the hairdresser, you’ll meet Arezu, the warden of the Diamond Clan. This officially begins the mission Arezu’s Predicament. Speak to Captain Cyllene and you’ll be given more information about the Crimson Mirelands and Solaceon Ruins, your next destination.

Head to the gate of Jubilife Village and you’ll be stopped by Akira or Rei. They’ll engage you in a friendly battle, and you’ll go against their Lv. 19 Mime Jr and Lv. 20 Pikachu.

Lv. 19 Mime. JrPsychic/Fairy
Lv. 20 PikachuElectric

Mime. Jr is weak against Steel, Ghost- and Poison-type moves but resistant to Fighting- and Psychic-type moves. It will take a normal amount of damage from a wide range of types of attacks, however. Pikachu will take the most amount of damage from Ground-type attacks.

After defeating Akira or Rei, head off to the Crimson Mirelands and to Solaceon Ruins to speak with Warden Calaba.

Trainer Battle! vs. Volo

After a conversation, Volo will appear and challenge you to a battle with a Lv. 22 Togepi and Gible.

Lv. 22 GibleDragon/Ground

Togepi is weak to Steel- and Poison-type attacks, but resistant to Dark, Fighting- and Bug-type attacks. Gible is immune to Electric-type attacks, and resistant to Fire-type attacks, but will take good amounts of damage from Dragon, Ice- and Fairy-type attacks.

Once you’ve beaten him, he’ll heal your Pokemon and ask for your help to find the missing fragment from the ruins from the shady bandits.

Follow the market to reach the campfire. You’ll be approached by the Miss Fortune sisters, a bandit trio made up of Charm, Clover and Coin.

Trainer Battle! vs. Coin

Lv. Pokemon Type
Lv. 23 ToxicroakPoison/Fighting

Coin's Toxicroak will be weak to Flying, Psychic- and Ground-type attacks. Toxicroak is, however, resistant to quite a few types including Bug- and Grass-type attacks. Try to stick with using Flying-type attacks, or opt for Normal, Water, Fire- or Electric-type moves, which will do a normal amount of damage.

When you defeat Coin, you’ll acquire the Wall Fragment. Return to Volo with the fragment in Solaceon Ruins. Give this to Calaba.

At Sludge Mound

Head to Sludge Mound after this conversation to find Ursaluna. Calabra will use her flute and call Ursaluna, who you’ll need to battle. Ursaluna is a Lv. 26 and a Ground- and Normal-type Pokemon. Water, Fighting- and Grass-type attacks will be the best options here. Avoid using Poison, Electric- and Ghost-type moves.

ArezusPredicament6.jpg

Once you’ve defeated Ursaluna, he’ll be calmed. After playing the Celestic Flute, you’ll receive an Earth Plate and the ability to call Ursaluna and dig for treasure.

Go back to Jubilife Village and to Commander Kamado’s office. Speak to the Commander, then go back to the Crimson Mirelands. Because Ursaluna knows Arezu’s scent, you’ll be able to call Ursaluna to track her down.

Use the blue signalling that comes from Ursaluna to find Arezu’s location. After a small cutscene, go to Adaman. Proceed into the Brava Arena and fight Lilligant.

How to Fight Lilligant

Lilligant will need to be quelled using Marsh Balm. She'll use two types of attacks. One sees her leap up into the air and create a circle when she lands that you'll need to roll outside of, in order to have a chance to throw balm at her and not be damaged. The second attack is a shockwave she sends out that you'll need to jump over.

Keep dodging these attacks and throwing balm at her to quell her frenzy. Once you’ve defeated Lilligant, you’ll receive a Meadow Plate. Head back to Jubilife Village to report to headquarters. Arezu's Predicament
