The first obsidian location is at 53.9 Latitude and 70.8 Longitude near the castle on the eastern side of the map.

The second spot for obsidian farming is next to metal spawn at 47.7 Latitude and 89.3 Longitude on the far right side of the map.

Right above the Helms Deep, you will find some more obsidian spawning next to metal and rocks at 31.8 Latitude and 67.2 Longitude.

From the previous location, head west to the snowy peak and you will find some more obsidian covered in snow at 20.6 Latitude and 10.1 Longitude.

The last location is also in the snow biome at 05.3 Latitude and 29.8 Longitude.

Obsidian Spawn Command

If you’re having trouble finding Obsidian in Ark Fjordur, you can use spawn commands to have this item spawn in your inventory. To do this, you must open the cheat console by pressing the TAB key on your keyboard.

If you’re playing on PlayStation, you’ll need to hold down L1, R1, Square, and Triangle at once, and similarly, on Xbox, hold down, LB, RB, X, and Y at once. Once the console opens, simply type in: “cheat gfi Obsidian 1 0 0” and hit enter to add this resource directly to your inventory.
