Go back to my question Music Music on iOS User profile for user: Renzoco Renzoco Author User level: Level 1 16 points Artist can’t put all lower case letters for Single/Album title.

It seems like there is a disconnect from Apple Music and independent artists, why is it that Spotify allows this but Apple Music doesn’t? I want my latest single to be titled “lwm (live with me)” in all lower case letters. Why is it that larger artists that are signed to labels are able to get away with this but independent artists aren’t able to? I’ll leave a picture of the prime example for this, Olivia Rodrigo, she is able to get away with this because she is signed to Interscope? Please.

here is my artist page for reference.

  • Artist showing multiple times I have seen recently whenever I download a song from an artist that has a collab with another artist it will show up as it's own artist instead of going into the first artist section. I have read the articles saying to put an X when I go to get info, but that hasn't worked for some of the songs. If you could please help I would definitely appreciate it. 579 2

I did reach out to them, Apple Music for Artists told me it is a distributor problem, not an Apple Music specific problem, which is incorrect. Distrokid, my music distributor, sent out the song title: “lwm (live with me)” to other streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, TikTok, YT Music, even in iTunes it shows up the way I want it to. It seems like there is an algorithm in place to automatically capitalize letters on Apple Music specifically. Distrokid says due to Apple’s policy on non-standard capitalization, someone, or an algorithm most likely, capitalizes the letter of each word. I need someone to manually change the letters on this single. What Apple Music support for Artists told me is that they do not deal with song titles, they deal with artist image, profile and analytics. I urge you all to change this algorithm. And also amend the song title. Thank you for your time.
