We specialize in naturally leavened sourdough breads with deep flavor and hearty crusts. Our rotating selection includes favorites such as everyday sourdough, cheddar scallion, seed bread, deli pumpernickel, and malt rye.

Our bagels are truly a labor of love. They are naturally leavened (sourdough), go through a multi day fermentation, are boiled in malted water, dunked in toppings and then baked in a hot oven for the perfect flavor and texture.

If you’re unfamiliar with bialys, they are chewy like a bagel but more open, like an English muffin. The indentation in the center is smeared with roasted onions. If you are familiar with bialys, you know how delicious they are! They come out of the oven a little later than other things, usually about 9.

Our bagels and bialys are available spread with cream cheese or butter or as sandwiches with lox or smoked whitefish salad. We have plain cream cheese, dill scallion cream cheese and a rotating seasonal cream cheese.  Vegan options are available.

Our current seasonal cream cheese is: Pink Radish & Shallot.

Bread schedule

• Thursday–Sunday: Everyday Sourdough
• Thursday: Kasha Bread, made with toasted buckwheat
• Friday: rotating selection, baker’s choice! 2/27/26 will be Sesame Anadama
• Saturday: Deli Pumpernickel, made with cracked rye and whole wheat, with caraway and coriander and molasses
• Sunday: Cheddar Scallion Bread, very cheesy 🙂

Parking available on street or in lot behind the building, accessed from 50th St.

Bus route 7 available at the corner of 34th Ave South and 50th St East.

All gender/accessible public restroom available.

We require masks. We have staff, customers, and family who have chronic illnesses and disabilities that make them more likely to become very sick if they get COVID. Access and community care are important values to us and this is why we have you wear a mask when visiting. We always have some available for you!
