August Alsina Loses The Ability To Walk During Battle With Health

August Alsina has tragically lost the use of his legs. The American performer has battled with a hereditary autoimmune disease since 2014, where he was hospitalized after suffering multiple seizures during a performance. He remained in a coma for three days.

The following year, he began to have problems with his sight and almost went blind. His latest attack has cost him the use of his legs, although temporary. Alsina posted a video to his instagram showing that his spirits have not been broken and he is continuing to remain positive.

In 2017, he also announced that he was suffering from liver disease and sat down with close friend Jada Pinkett-Smith to discuss how it has affected his life.

During the clip, Alsina says, "the reality is, I'm sick all the time."
