Archeage Patch Notes

MMORPG ArcheAge by developer XL Games received a patch today that added a PvP Naval Arena, the Abyssal Kraken boss fight, and plenty of quality-of-life changes that'll make adventuring in-game a bit more manageable. You can start enjoying the new content after downloading the update.

The Naval Arena: Stillwater Gulf is a new season arena available until the already-planned August 8 maintenance. Players can access the Stillwater Gulf daily between 13:00-21:00 Pacific Time. By participating throughout the season, players will steadily raise their ranks, which caps at rank 100, and earn rewards like Kyrios Badges and Turtlecraft Totem along the way. However, XL Games mentioned these rewards for rankings between August 1-4 wouldn't be distributed.

Abyssal Kraken, a level 3 Ancestral boss, was also added to the game today. If players are successful in defeating the Abyssal Kraken, they could get unique items such as Arcadian Sea Sovereign, Storm Caller's Hoop, and a Feathered Dragon Glider. Outside of the content updates, there are plenty of quality-of-life improvements to the Garden of the Gods Teleport Stones and inventory management. To solve the inconvenience of carrying multiple stones, XL Games has combined them all into one, transporting players to several locations. Also, the maximum stacks for Fortune Box were increased from 100 to 1,000. The devs promise to keep an eye on other stackable items they can improve.
