Average Last Frost Dates
The average date of the last frost ranges from mid-April to early June.
About half of the Northeast has passed the date of the average last frost. With the long-range outlook as of May 9 leaning towards above normal temperatures through May 23rd, the rest of the region could escape a late frost. If a frost or freeze is anticipated, watches and/or warnings will be issued by your local National Weather Service Office.
