Home GMCB0413 04 GMC GMC DTC B0413 04 Make: GMC Code: B0413 04 Definition: Rear Door Passenger Side Double Locking Motor - Circuit short to ground Cause: NOTE: This DTC is set after 2 successive failed lock operations
  • Passenger-side rear door double locking motor circuit - Short circuit to ground
  • Door latch - Internal failure
Diagnosis: NOTE: Disconnect the battery prior to performing circuit checks
  • Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS and check the passenger-side rear door double locking motor circuit (pin 9) for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTC, repeatedly double lock/unlock the vehicle and retest
  • If fault persists, check and install a new door latch as required. Clear DTC, repeatedly open and close door and retest
Failure Type: System Internal FailureThis sub type is used for control module Internal Failures that cannot be assigned to a specific sub type.
