CENTRAL FALLS, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the public schools.

The first day of school for most students in Central Falls is August 27, according to a posted calendar.

Gov. Dan McKee is recommending that all Rhode Island school children return to the classroom with masks in keeping with new guidance from the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. However, the decision will be made by local school districts.
