Back To The Future Trilogy Is Now Available On Amazon Prime Video

Back to the Future is one of those film franchises that is so packed with iconic lines and famous characters – not to mention that DeLorean – that even if you've never seen the movies, you almost certainly know something about them.

In great news for fans and potential fans, the entire trilogy of Back to the Future movies is now available on Amazon Prime Video for free, so long as you have a Prime subscription or are happy to sign up for one with a 30-day free trial.

The trilogy kicks off with 1985 original Back To The Future, which introduces us to teenage Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) who is desperate to make something of himself and not end up like his parents, George (Crispin Glover) and Lorraine (Lea Thompson).

After he accidentally travels back in time to 1955 in a DeLorean that is also a time machine, he meets the younger versions of his future parents and inadvertently becomes his mother's romantic interest. He then teams up with eccentric scientist Doctor Emmett 'Doc' Brown (Christopher Lloyd), who must help him repair history, secure his own future existence and return to 1985.

Back to the Future Part II, the 1989 sequel, sees Marty, Doc and Marty's girlfriend Jennifer Parker (Elisabeth Shue) travel to 2015 to help the future versions of Marty and Jennifer, only for their plans to go awry when George's school bully Biff Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson) steals the DeLorean time machine.

The third and final film of the trilogy, 1990's Back to the Future Part III, features Marty attempting to rescue Doc after he gets trapped in 1885.

All three movies are usually £3.49 to rent or £7.99 to buy on Amazon Prime Video so if you've never seen the trilogy now may be the perfect time!

Some of the Back to the Future cast recently celebrated a virtual reunion thanks to actor Josh Gad and his 'Reunited Apart' YouTube series.

Actors including Christopher Lloyd, Michael J Fox and Lea Thompson gave us some much-needed heavy nostalgia as they got together online to recreate some of the trilogy's most iconic scenes.

It even includes the famous, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads" line.

Back to the Future is available to watch now on Amazon Prime Video, with the trilogy also available on Blu-ray and DVD.
