Bahama Bucks Shaved Ice, Was a Favorite After School Snack For Wakeland Students. Now its been shut down, For Good.

Bahama Buck’s is closing its Frisco location. Due to unforeseen circumstance, both of Frisco’s beloved locations have closed down, effective since September 5th. But, stores in Plano and Mckinney continue to sell our teens favorite treat. Students give their opinions as their favorite location to grab a sweet treat closes down. “I think it sucks because I would go with friends and my family, and they had a lot of choices.” says junior Ryan Saldana. The reason for the closing of the two stores is currently unknown. “That’s so sad, they had really good snow cones,” says Alba Trejo a WHS Sophomore. The closing of Bahama Buck’s has shocked students who frequently visit the establishment.
