When I buy oxtails it's a toss up between oxtail soup and baked oxtails,both are so deliscous! Baked oxtails are so simple to make,good with mashed potatoes or add sliced potatoes.Sweet potatoes are a good change of pace.Add potatoes after meat is done,cook until potatoes are tender.

  • - oxtails
  • - salt,pepper and granulated garlic,to taste
  • - onions,sliced

How To Make baked oxtails

  • Step 1 Rinse oxtails.Season with salt,pepper and garlic.Place in oven proof dish,cover with onions,the more the better,add water half way up to the oxtails,Cover,bake in a 300 deg oven until oxtails are falling off the bone.Check once in a while to make sure water has not evaporated.Skim fat from juices and serve.
