Have you ever tried washing your hair but the shampoo bottle cut your finger so there was so much blood that you couldn't wash your hair? Yeah, me either. Until now. Purchased both the shampoo & conditioner, but the pump on one of the bottles wouldn't pop up. So I attempted to unscrew the top and when I did, the edge of the top sliced my fingers! The edge of the silver tops on these bottles is SO sharp they are like razor blades. It's crazy. So didn't wash my hair that night. But when I did use the products, they were good. Not great, but good. I did reach out to The Hair Routine to let them know about this safety issue - no response. They don't seem to care. Then I came to these reviews - does anyone else find it super weird that there are negative comments accompanied by 5 star reviews? Who gives a product a 5 star review but says they wouldn't buy it again? No one. Something is off here.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of this company for a month now, since my order came in with a missing a product. I was really excited to try this local brand and had heard really good things. But after 3 emails, a Facebook and Instagram DM, I have to give a 1 star review. The shampoo and hair mask I did receive were okay, nothing to be crazy about and I did go back to my regular hair products. It’s a shame really. It seems that I' not the only one. I think this company may be going bankrupt and I regret ordering from here.
