Ina, 74, looked gorgeous in a modest short-sleeved white dress, matching veil and long brunette hair in a black & white photo from their 1968 wedding.

The happy couple both donned large smiles as they cut into their extravagant wedding cake, which had three tiers decorated with bells and flowers.

Ina shared the photo in 2020 and wrote in her Instagram caption at the time: “Fifty-two years and still having so much fun! You gave me a life I could never have dreamed of. Happy Anniversary my love.”

The famous chef concluded her caption with some light roasting over the dessert, asking: “(What’s up with that cake??)”

After Jeffrey’s military service, per Page Six, they spent a four-month camping trip in France, which ignited her love of French cuisine.

She then began working at the White House, “writing nuclear energy budget and policy papers for Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter,” per Page Six.

In 1978, Ina left politics and opened a food store in Westhampton Beach called Barefoot Contessa.

The Food Network star published her first cookbook, The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook, on April 28, 1999.

20-plus years later, she is a six-time Emmy Award winner and a 10-time nominee.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ina accumulated a wealth of $60million with many more cookbooks and her long-running TV show to her name.

SNOWY WEDDING

During a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, Ina described the wedding to U.S. army veteran Jeffrey as “a very contemporary rock cliff in the woods.”

“Right in the middle of the ceremony, it started to snow.

“It was beautiful and romantic, but by the end of the party, the poor guys parking cars had to dig everyone out!”

Her transformation also comes as she’s serving up a new show: Be My Guest with Ina Garten.

It will premiere on March 23 on the Food Network and Discovery+ – it will also be plated as a podcast.

The guest list includes Julianna Margulies, Willie Geist and director Rob Marshall – and will take place at her home in East Hampton.

“It was so much fun to film. Really fabulous,” she told Page Six.

FEUD WITH MARTHA STEWART

Ina found herself in a feud with Martha Stewart in 2020.

After Reese Witherspoon posted an Instagram video about how she was “coping” with the COVID pandemic, the chef jokingly reliped that her trick was to drink “more large cosmos.”

She commented: “To quote Reese Witherspoon, that sounds great but I’m probably not doing any of those things! LOL!!”

The chef then added her recipe for enjoying the long pandemic days which included, in her words: “Drink more large cosmos, Stay up late watching addictive streaming series” and “Spend more time with people you love.”

Martha took issue and told People shortly after: “I do not agree about taking to drink to cope with things like the pandemic.”

“To me that’s not charming.”

“To me it’s continuing to work really hard, to be as productive as I possibly can be, to enjoy my grandchildren,” Martha told People.

Ina has no children, once telling The Cut it was “the choice I made.”

The Barefoot Contessa slammed Martha to Page Six on Wednesday for “recommending that you drink her wine instead” in the former convict’s shady earlier response.

“I didn’t quite understand. I must have missed something there, right? … It doesn’t matter,” Ina reflected on the spat.

‘I’M NOT A COMFORTABLE COOK’

Meanwhile, while Jeffrey “loves” his wife’s cooking, per Page Six someone less sure of her skills is Ina herself.

“I’m not a comfortable cook,” the Food Network personality added to the outlet.

“Cooking is really hard for me.

“If I’m making dinner for four people, I’m like, ‘How’s this going to happen?’ I really am. I’m really not a confident cook.”

Because she was never a professional chef, she added it was something she never had to do “over and over and over again.”

“You have to adjust along the way. I just find it hard.”
