The Barracks are a part of the Rogue Monastery. It is located between the Outer Cloister and the Jail.
The Barracks are a cramped and dark with many chambers, giving the place an overall creepy atmosphere.
The Horadric Malus can be found here, guarded by The Smith.
In Diablo II: Resurrected, the Barracks can sometimes become terrorized. When this happens, the Jail also becomes terrorized. The relatively high monster density and the presence of a Waypoint in Jail level 1 granting ease of access can make the Barracks a reasonable place to farm experience and gear, though its cramped layout and dead ends can be troublesome.
