Also known as BRI. One of two basic levels of Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) service. A BRI line provides two 64-kbit/s (bearer) channels for voice and data, and one 16-kbit/s channel for signaling (commonly expressed as 2B+D). See also Primary Rate Interface (PRI).
