Basics of the C-stand
“- The backbone of any collection of lighting equipment is the C-stand. The C stands for century since it was presumably invented at 20th Century Fox. A C-stand takes the place of a person holding something perfectly still in a specific place. It can hold anything. A prop, a monitor, a light, or a flag. Now when someone hands you a C-stand, it's very important that they do it properly. Thanks, Rob.
