i'm on single player, and use no mods or adjustments beyond the sliders that are available when starting a singleplayer serverso i have the slider for taming speed slid up to max, whatever that translates to. Just like if u drop in an equus into a pen for taming, u need to leave render range and come back for them to calm down. use a rock drake it 100% works, its how i tamed mine, just throw it on the ground then kite the snake towards the egg then run as far as you can very quickly. When it forgets about attacking you it will go for the egg.edit: in other words it cant be aggro AND eat the egg, so cage it or something then leave the egg there.
