How to Tie Your Belt

  1. Prepare the Jacket – Ensure the left side of your jacket overlaps the right (see figures a & b).
  2. Find the Center – Fold the belt in half to locate the center, then place it at the front of your waist (fig. c).
  3. Wrap the Belt – Wrap both ends around your back (fig. d.) and bring them forward. Check that the ends are even.
  4. First Cross – Hold one end in each hand. Cross the right end over the left, then tuck it underneath both layers of the belt (fig. e).
  5. Tie the Knot – Take the new left end, cross it over the right, and pull it through the loop created (fig. f & g).
  6. Tighten & Adjust – Pull both ends outward to tighten. For a proper finish, the ends should be of equal length (fig. h).
