For crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside meatballs, turn to the air fryer. It will replicate the crust you get when you pan fry—without any oil. Another bonus: You aren't required to stand near a splattering stove to turn the meatballs every couple of minutes. The air fryer does the work for you and gets all sides perfectly "seared". These are stuffed with mozzarella for an extra-fun surprise and once coated in your favorite marinara can be a meal all on their own. These are anything but your ordinary meatball and we are here for it!

Ingredients
See All Nutritional Information- 1 lb.
ground beef
- 1/2 cup
bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup
freshly grated Parmesan
- 1/4 cup
freshly chopped parsley
- 1
large egg
- 2
cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp.
dried oregano
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
- 3 oz.
fresh mozzarella, cut into 16 cubes
Marinara, for serving
Directions
- Step 1In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2Scoop about 2 tablespoons of meat and flatten into a patty in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and pinch meat up around cheese and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining meat to make 16 total meatballs.
- Step 3Working in batches as needed, place meatballs in basket of air fryer and cook at 370° for 12 minutes.
- Step 4Serve with warmed marinara.
