Advanced Search Bill Hemmer is an American journalist who currently works for ‘Fox News’ as a co-anchor for the show ‘America’s Newsroom.’ Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the middle child in a family of five children. He studied at the ‘Elder High School’ in Cincinnati. It was during his high-school years that he gained an interest in broadcasting. He started a radio program with his friends and played music before his classes. He later enrolled at the ‘Miami University’ and earned a BA degree in broadcast journalism. While still in college, he worked as a radio disc jockey at two local radio stations, before he earned an internship at the ‘NBC’ affiliate located in Cincinnati. At the age of 26, he embarked on a trip to Asia and recorded his experiences in the form of a tape called ‘Bill’s Excellent Adventure.’ After winning a few awards for his work, he earned a job at the ‘CNN’ headquarter in Georgia and spent 10 years working with them. He hosted a number of programs at ‘CNN,’ such as ‘American Morning,’ ‘CNN Tonight,’ and ‘CNN Live Today.’ In 2005, he joined ‘Fox News’ and has been co-hosting the news program ‘America’s Newsroom’ ever since its premier.
