All travellers are eligible to use the BIKES for free.
You can use BIKES if you hold an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) compliant passport, and you belong to one of the following categories:
| Categories | Prerequisites |
| Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, or Long-Term Pass Holders | Biometric identifiers (iris/facial/fingerprints) have been enrolled with ICA. |
| Holder of a Work Pass (Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass or Dependant’s Pass) | Biometric identifiers (iris/facial/fingerprints) have been enrolled with Ministry of Manpower (MOM). |
| Travellers who are registered under ICA’s Automated Clearance Initiative (ACI) | Refer to Automated Clearance Initiative (ACI) for more information. |
| Social visitors on departure | Biometric identifiers (iris/facial/fingerprints) have been enrolled during arrival immigration clearance. |
1. BIKES allows motorcyclists and their pillion passenger to conduct self-service immigration clearance.
At Kiosk
2. Rider and/or their pillion can present QR code or passport at the kiosk for immigration clearance.

For single rider
Single rider can either scan a QR code at the QR code scanner or insert passport into the passport reader (Green meant for the rider).
For rider with a pillion
a) Rider with a pillion can either scan a QR code (individually) or a Group QR code at the QR code scanner; or
b) Insert the passports into the passport reader (Green meant for rider and Yellow meant for pillion rider).
At Clearance Bay
3. For both single rider and rider with a pillion - When the barrier opens, the rider enters the clearance bay and slots the AutoPass/Cashcard into the card reader.
4. Rider and/or their pillion can present their biometrics for identity verification.

For single rider
Single rider places enrolled finger on the fingerprint scanner.
For rider with a pillion
Rider and/or their pillion can place the enrolled finger on the fingerprint scanner (Green meant for rider and Yellow meant for pillion rider).
5. After fingerprint verification is successful, the light strips will turn green, and the exit barrier will be raised for onward journey.
