There is a piece of good news for the fans of Black Clover. Ever since the panel of the banner sat down at the Jump Festa event, the hype of the anime series had increased exponentially. In the event in December 2021, the makers of the anime announced that Black Clover was going to get a movie project. The first pieces of glimpses from the movie were also released back then. First announced in the Jump Festa 2022, the Black Clover movie has become one of the most anticipated movie releases of the coming years. Initially deemed to release in 2022, the movie will feature Yuno in the lead. And now, the rough drafts of the most recent chapter of the manga have come out with release details. The leaks suggested that the movie is set for a 2023 premiere. Soon after, leak page Shonen Jump News Unofficial’s Twitter page confirmed the news.

What To Expect From The Movie?

At the time of writing, there is no information about what the plot of the movie is going to be. The only piece of information that we have in regards to the film is the character posters of Asta and Yuno. Plus, there is now a confirmed release window for the release. Fans are speculating that the movie would not follow the plot last traced in Season 3. In addition, there is no confirmation of the studio change as well.

Instead, the plot would be an independent story covering the adventures of young Yuno and Asta. Some Redditors also believe that a young Lucifero might act as the villain of the story. But since there is no confirmation on the same, it is best not to believe any fan theory this soon.
