Tscholten T Anyone out there ever use or have experience with Black Hound optics?? Specifically the Genesis 6-24x50 scope?? They are based out of Georgia, scopes are manufactured in China, but the reviews and interview of the company president present a positive, high quality product. I just want a few sources of feedback before spending $400 on a scope for my new KIDD super grade. #1 · May 18, 2021 Anyone out there ever use or have experience with Black Hound optics?? I shoot with some guys that went the Mueller route with scopes and watched how they struggled with adjustments hanging up and then jumping all at once double the amount they moved them. Vortex were about as bad but maybe slightly better. I think Vortex is really a step up over a Mueller but I will never buy one. One friend offered me a Mueller and a BSA for free and I told him to sell them at a yard sale I didn't want them. Philippines built optics seems to be a step up from China junk. Try to get a decent return on what you paid new out of China scopes used. Good luck with that. I have sold Leupolds for more than I paid when new. I doubt there is a rifle here that has anything on it but Leupold, Nikon or Burris. The only thing I ever bought made in China that was any good was a Rough Rider pocket knife that holds an edge better than my Case knife at 4 times the price. Insert Quotes Post Reply
