Classic British black pudding, ideal for a proper breakfast

Our classic British black pudding (blood sausage) is rich and delicious. Worthy of the highest merit, it is made with beef blood, pork fat, breadcrumbs and oatmeal to our traditional British recipe. Our artisan methods make this an exceptional pudding, perfectly seasoned with onions, mace, white pepper and salt.

Each pudding is in an individual 12oz tube, yielding 10-12 portions. Traditionally eaten as part of a Full English Breakfast, our black pudding is also brilliant in inventive Chef-inspired dishes for both lunch and dinner.

Our black pudding is easy to cook, and sizzles for 3-4 minutes on each side in a pan.

This is a fully cooked product and ships frozen in a thermal cooler with dry-ice and ice packs. Upon arrival, it can be kept frozen for up to six months.

Incredibly satisfying! Our British black pudding is the perfect combination of hearty but soft and crumbly when cooked. It features a rich, savoury flavor with a slightly earthy undertone, and perfectly compliments any British breakfast.

What is black and white pudding?

Black and white puddings are traditional staples of a Full English or Full Irish breakfast. Our black pudding is made with beef blood and mixed with oatmeal breadcrumbs and seasoning. Our white pudding is made with prime pork that is finely ground and mixed similarly to the black pudding.

How should I cook black pudding?

Our puddings come in individual 12oz tubes which each yield 10-12 portions. We recommend slicing our puddings with a very sharp knife. Carefully remove the casing before cooking. Our puddings are easy to cook – sizzle in a little oil for 3-4 minutes on each side in a pan. Alternatively, bake our puddings in a preheated oven at 375F for 15-20 minutes, or cook on a grill.

What is the shelf-life and how long will they keep?

Our black pudding can be frozen for up to 9 months and refrigerated for 14 days.
