What Can You Do At The Blacksmith

The Blacksmith is run by Clint and is used to purchase coal and ores as well as upgrading tools and processing geodes.

Merchandise

You can buy valuable resources from Clint in the Blacksmith, keep in mind that in year 2 you'll be notified that the prices have increased.

  • Copper Ore - 75g or 150g after year 1.
  • Iron Ore - 150g or 250g after year 1.
  • Gold Ore - 400g or 750g after year 1.
  • Coal - 150g or 250g after year 1.

Upgrade Tools

Inside the Blacksmith, you can upgrade your four main tools (Axe, Watering Can, Pickaxe, and Hoe) and the price will be the same regardless of the tool you're upgrading.

Each Tool must be upgraded incrementally and Clint will take the tool off you for two days while he works on the upgrade.

  • Copper - 5 Copper Bars, 2,000g
  • Steel - 5 Iron Bars, 5,000g
  • Gold - 5 Gold Bars, 10,000g
  • Iridium - 5 Iridium Bars, 25,000g

You could also upgrade your trash can for the following resources:

  • Copper Trash Can - 5 Copper Bars, 1,000G
  • Steel Trash Can - 5 Iron Bars, 5,000G
  • Gold Trash Can - 5 Gold Bars, 10,000G
  • Iridium Trash Can - 5 Iridium Bars, 25,000G

Geodes

At the Blacksmith, you can also ask Clint to open geodes, golden coconuts, and artifact troves for you. Doing so will cost you 25g and there's a chance you'll receive minerals, artifacts, gems, stones, clay, or coal.
