Music Career

After graduating from high school, Blake Shelton moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a music career.

In 1997, he landed a job at a music publishing company and obtained a production contract with Bobby Braddock’s help with Sony Music. Despite this, Shelton’s career wouldn’t officially start until 2001, when he signed with Giant Records and released his first single.
