John Schneider is a lofty dude himself and he's also listed as 6ft3-6ft4. I don't think that John Schneider is lying about or inflating his height; therefore, there could be a strong possibility that Blake Shelton is simply underestimating his towering 6ft5-6ft6 height. Another possibility is that he really does wear thick-heeled cowboy boots which grant him a couple of inches. Could this considerable height difference be due to shoe advantage or camera angle? This was 2011. 7 years ago so Kenny wasn't that old and thin people in relatively good shape don't shrink as much as people often say they do here. I am over 30 years older than my "peak height age" and built the same as Loggins, and have lost probably 1/8 of an inch. Kenny was 6'4" peak, and at most lost 1/2 inch, so he is probably 6'3.5"now. Well, they're less likely to, from my experience a lot of the movie stars who are a genuine 6'3" or above generally seem to be pretty honest about their height. But I can think of several 6'3" range guys who have claimed 6'5" or people think they're 6'5. Steve Jones claims 6'4" and doesn't look it, Ben Affleck claims 6'3.5" and doesn't look it, some people might just claim their measured height in shoes and not think too much about barefoot height.
