I have the mushroom spirit boy and i have done the thing once. But i cannot get more and i need more ectoplasm. is there some kinda requirement to interact with the bug again? cause i cannot start the event again no mater what.p.s. I own the game on switch but cannot find any help online so im asking here. On my first playthrough he kept telling me to touch the glass, but he was always hovering around, so anytime I tried to interact with the glass the game auto-selected Stanley.My best advice is to wait until Stanley isn't in his room, then go in and try to get the white 'highlight' aura around the terrarium and then press your interact key. If he isn't leaving his room, wait until he moves over to the far right-hand side of the room and then you should be able to interact with the terrarium and prompt the beginning of the event.If you are doing all of that (it took me several attempts to get it to work) and the event still isn't triggering, you may have a bug. just to be clear i have done it once. when stanley told me to. its after that momment that the game has decided i cannot interact with it in any way. its been hours of playtime since then and not once have i been able to interact with the glass since then. or even see it selectable at all. stanley in the room or not has nothing to do with it. i wanna know if there is some kinda thing that is needed to start the event again after the first time. There is an in-game cooldown of a day in a half and you won't be able to start the even if it's raining, you are near the Everdoor or in a falling star zone. That's pretty much everything that control this event. Normally the beetle willbe visible when you can start the event, however I think there is currently a bug where he'll be invisible.
