Description

Gorgeous, thin-wall geodes are imported from Mexico and Morocco and are usually lined with shimmering quartz crystals, calcite, or aragonite. Take a chance!

Every geode is unique inside. The mineral and crystal formations can only be discovered when cracked open or cut with a rock saw. The size and formation of crystals, the different colors, and variety of minerals make each geode special.

To crack open your geode:

Set the geode on the concrete, place the chisel in the middle, and tap it very gently a few times with the hammer. Turn the geode a quarter turn and do this again. Continue scoring along the circumference of the geode until you see a crack form all the way around, then pull the two halves apart.

Take a chance! These small geodes are filled with beautiful and intriguing crystals. Crack them open yourself and see! These make a great gift and it can be great fun for yourself or doing it with a child as an excellent learning experience!

Theses geodes are always a fun thing to be able to break open and the Large sizes are really decent. Cannot beat the price!
Every weekend I have one family member pick a place they want to visit any place in the world and the dinner would be created specifically for that country. Well after an area was picked I thought a treasure hunt would be quite fitting so I purchased the 13 geodes. It was a success. The entire family enjoyed searching for their treasure and then cracking it open after quite a few laughable tries that is. Thank you Sacred Mists!
