On October 10, 1969, Brett was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. He is the second of four children. His parents, Bonita Ann and Irvin Ernest Favre were school teachers in the Hancock county district, and his father was the school’s football coach. He spent a lot of his free time hunting and fishing with his siblings.His passion for football was born young; he played football and baseball in junior school.
