Brock Lesnar is confirmed to make his WWE return in 2023 as he has been advertised for Day 1, scheduled to take place on the first day of next year. He main-evented the last year's event and walked out with the WWE Championship. Lesnar lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2022.

Brock Lesnar isn't yet retired from WWE and he is set to make his in-ring return next year. The former WWE Champion lost another opportunity to regain the title after losing to Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam 2022. While many would be thinking that it was his retirement match, it isn't the case.

Lesnar is confirmed to compete at Day 1 2023. The State Farm Arena has released the poster for next year's event and Lesnar is the only superstar who features in the advertisement. The former Universal Champion isn't advertised for any event before that and it is likely that will he make his return around that time. Surprisingly, Lesnar hasn't been advertised for Clash at the Castle yet.

The WWE veteran main-evented the first-ever Day 1 last year and won the WWE Championship by pinning Big E. He is likely to remain in the title picture upon his return but will not face Roman Reigns now.

Their SummerSlam 2022 match was the last time when the duo squared off in WWE and it is confirmed that Lesnar and Reigns won't square off again.

Drew McIntyre, who will face Reigns in the main event of Clash at the Castle, is the favourite going into the event and he might renew his rivalry with Lesnar next year. McIntyre defeated Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania 36 to win the WWE Championship for the first time. The event took place at WWE's Performance Center due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Interestingly, McIntyre had eliminated Lesnar from Royal Rumble 2020 and the vice-versa happened in 2022. Hence, there is a storyline between them and their match could take place next year. Apart from McIntyre, Bobby Lashley is another strong contender to face Lesnar after his WWE comeback.
