I had small pork chops, and they cooked up quick! I'm talking just 4 minutes on each side. This was the easiest dinner to throw together. You won't believe how fast these are to make!
If you have larger pork chops the juicier they'll be but the longer it will take to cook.
HOW LONG TO BROIL PORK CHOPS
Smaller chops: 4-5 minutes per side¾ inch chops: 7-8 minutes per side1 inch+ chops: 8-10 minutes per side
Bake until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
EASY WAY TO COOK
There's nothing easier than brushing a small amount of oil on each chop and sprinkling them in salt and pepper. Throw them in the oven, turn once, and within minutes dinner is ready!

GLAZING? BROIL RACK?
I made broiled pork chops with a thick garlic honey glaze. Because I didn't use a rack, all the juices from cooking washed the glaze off my chops (as shown in my video). You can use a baking sheet as I did, but you'll want a rack to elevate the pork from the juices if using a glaze.
SEASONINGS & RUBS
While a simple salt and pepper will do, feel free to rub spices to your pork chop for extra flavor! Just be sure to coat the pork chop with spices in a little oil, so the herbs don't burn.
ADJUSTING YOUR TOP RACK
Every oven is different, but it's important to notice where the top rack is slotted in your oven. Because the heating element will be super hot (500 degrees!), you'll want a bit of space not to burn the meat or spices during cooking.
I placed my top rack on the 3rd rung down from the top, approx. 6 inches from the heating element.
