Impact Clowney continued to struggle from the field, failing to score more than 13 points for the fifth straight game. In six appearances over the past two weeks, he has averaged 12.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 2.1 combined steals and blocks, shooting a woeful 34.4 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the line. While his shooting will almost certainly turn around at some point, his limited overall upside makes him a viable drop candidate in standard formats. 1 HOUR AGO • ROTOWIRE Tyrese Martin - Goes scoreless in loss Martin closed Friday's 119-99 loss to the Wizards with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across five minutes. Impact Martin's poor production continued, failing to score in the blowout loss. He has now failed to top double digits in seven straight games, two of which he didn't even crack the rotation. Brooklyn's rotation is impossible to nail down at this point, meaning Martin has no value outside of very deep leagues. 1 HOUR AGO • ROTOWIRE Day'Ron Sharpe - Thrives in spot start Sharpe logged 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 119-99 loss to the Wizards. Impact Sharpe moved into the starting lineup for the first time this season, replacing Nic Claxton, who was ruled out due to personal reasons. As hoped, Sharpe rewarded anyone who had him in their active lineup, falling one rebound short of what would have been just his second double-double of the season. He added four combined steals and blocks for good measure, a reminder of what he is capable of when afforded starter-level minutes. Claxton could return as soon as Sunday, meaning Sharpe's standard league run could very well end at one game. Impact The big man is getting a crack in the first unit in the absence of Nic Claxton (personal) on Friday. It'll be the first start of the season for Sharpe, who averaged 17.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in 30.8 minutes per game covering a pair of regular-season contests as a starter in 2024-25. 6 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE Ziaire Williams - Back to bench Friday Williams is not in the Nets' starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday. Impact Mann has been cleared to return from a one-game absence due to a right hip contusion, and the 2019 second-rounder should see a heavier workload Friday due to the absences of Cam Thomas (rest) and Michael Porter (illness).
