brown adjective (PEOPLE)

(also Brown) belonging or relating to groups of people with brown skin, especially people who come from or whose family originally came from South Asia or the Middle East, but also used to describe people in the USA whose families come from Latin America: For South Asian Americans, a Brown identity allows them to establish a separate racial identity for themselves independent of White and Black Americans. He is proud to describe himself as a brown person.
