Storage: Keep it refrigerated to lengthen shelf life.Directions For Coloring:To make an extract of butterfly pea flower for food colouring, steep about a dozen fresh or dried flowers in a cup of boiling water. After about 15 minutes, strain the liquid and discard the flowers. The deep blue water is then ready to be used as blue food colouring.Directions For Tea :

  1. Steep 2-3 dried butterfly pea flowers in boiling water for 5-10 minutes, or until the water turns deep blue.
  2. Strain the liquid and discard the flowers if desired.
  3. Mix with syrup, hot tea if desired.
