Byron Allen is an American comedian, TV producer, and owner of Entertainment Studios and All Medio Group (AMG).

Allen likes to fly under the radar. However, he's a successful image in the Hollywood circle.

Last Tuesday, Allen announced his bid to buy the Denver Broncos in a statement. Saying Commissioner Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft encouraged him to consider owning an NFL franchise.

"NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft came to me in November of 2019 and asked me to take a good look at buying an NFL team," Byron Allen said in the statement.

"And after serious consideration, I strongly believe I can effectuate positive changes throughout the league. And for that reason, I will be making a bid for the Denver Broncos."

If successful in his bid, Allen would become the first Black majority owner of an NFL team.

Byron Allen's net worth is calculated at $450 million.

In his revenue model, Allen doesn't charge the networks high fees for the right of his shows, he gives them for free.

In exchange, Allen sold 50% of the show's available advertising time, exchanging lower prices for ad time for a 30 plus million audience.

Allen's company portfolio includes a stake in regional sports networks formerly owned by Disney and ownership of The Weather Channel, which it purchased in 2018.

How much are the Denver Broncos ownership asking for?

The value of the Denver Broncos is around $3.75 billion. The franchise is expecting to receive $4 billion.

If the Broncos receive the $4 billion or more they are asking for, they will settle a record price for a U.S. sports team.

Nevertheless, Allen's net worth is superior to $400 million, a much lower amount to support the transaction.

"If Allen is serious about his bid, it sounds like he'll need to find some deep-pocketed partners to join him," as Yahoo Sports' Jason Owens published.
