Banned Oct 28, 2017 4,648 No matter uninstall or reinstall I do, the campaign keeps crashing on me. It tries to load the level then it crashes. PS5 asks me then to submit a report. The game still crashes even if I try to do a new game. I've disabled 120Hz, HDR, moved the game from external HDD to internal SSD. No fix. I love this game but it has definitely been ruined by the bloat that is Warzone. I fucking hate Warzone.

The Fallen Oct 26, 2017 4,711 Iowa Vanguard had a similar issue where everytime I launched multiplayer, the game just crashed. Shit game anyways, so just gave me a good excuse to never touch it again.

I replayed it last week on PS5 and loading times were super long and there was annoying stutter especially during cutscenes (screen would even freeze for a few seconds). Turning off texture streaming and playing offline improved stuttering significantly but the slow loading is still there.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to only install the campaign of MW.

No, it lets you get rid of the campaign itself, the multiplayer and Spcial ops, the shit that is Warzone is always required no matter what.

I don't know how it is on PlayStation, but on PC MW doesn't even have its own page. It's treated as like an add-on to Warzone. You have to have Warzone installed as the "base game" and then you can choose to individually install MW campaign, MP, or spec ops on top of that. I haven't tried to start the MW campaign on PC in a while though.

Wow you're right. It really doe suck if you don't want to play Warzone. :/

That's pretty timely. I'm sure that if the campaign is still broken when they officially reveal MW2, it'd start making the rounds on news sites.
