Camila Cabello Says She Isn't Focusing On Dating And "Just Wants ...

Looks like Camila Cabello is relishing in #SingleGirlSummer. Since she and Shawn Mendes split in November 2021 after dating for more than two years, it seems like Camila has been having fun and living her best life. On top of picking up a new gig as a Coach on season 22 of The Voice, rumors that she was romantically linked to dating app CEO Austin Kevitch have also been swirling on the internet. The 25-year-old singer is also Cosmopolitan UK's latest cover star, and let's just say she didn't hold back when it came to discussing her dating life.

"I don't put a lot of focus on it," Camila told Cosmo UK. "I just really want to hang out with people, I want to make friends and I've made a lot of great friends over the past year…If something happens, then that's really fun, but I don't put any pressure on it."

Camila also revealed how she used to approach romantic connections (I mean, her sophomore album was literally titled Romance) and how she's changed over the years.

"Before I used to be like, 'Yes, love, oh my god, love,' and now I'm just trying to have a good time," she explained. "I just want to live my life and have great friendships. If something comes out of [them] that’s something more, then that's great."

The "Bam Bam" singer also dished on how she wants to be more like her friend and collaborator, Ed Sheeran. "He just strives to be an artist, and then also just lives his life as a normal dude," she told Cosmo UK. "He has a whole private life that people don't know about, where he has fun, hangs out with his friends, has a family, has dinner with the people he loves."

We don't know about you, but we are totally here for Camila's current single era, which seems to follow Kourtney Kardashian's "the vibe right now is just living life" mantra.
