can i make a obsidian generator in minecraft 1.8?

hello everybody as alot of of you know in 1.8 the obsidian generator was removed because it was a bug it was a good time with the obsidian generator we had so much fun with it in skyblock servers making one selling alot of obsidian and in factions too but now its removed but it could still be in minecraft does anyone know a way to make a obsidian generator in minecraft 1.8 if not then R.I.P obsidian generator if there is a way then we all still would be happy Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Water bucket, Dispenser, pool of lava. Obsidian generator! Apart from that I don't think there is a way to make an obsidian generator in 1.8 Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

i know that already well somebody else might know know how to make a obsidian generator in 1.8 it may be possible it may be not Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Do you mean where you put lava on top of redstone and had water run into it? Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Check out my PocketMine plugins!

You never said "I need a bug that gives you obsidian", you basically said "Can you find a way to get obsidian without losing my lava bucket?" Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

How about mining Nether portals? Build a portal, go to the Nether, build a new portal 16+ blocks away, use it to go back to the Overworld, you should end up at a new portal about 128 blocks from your original portal, mine that and go around again to get a new portal to mine, etc, etc. If you have the room to do that without ending up in someone elses portal. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack
Just testing.

oh really hexalobular i never knew that but im going to get obsidian on the server orangecraft in skybloc so is there something else possible Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

I just tried this out. Place redstone blocks where you would put redstone normally, and put a water source behind it and use your lava bucket to click on the redstone block and you have obsidian. this works in the current 1.8 ATTACHMENTS

That's not an obsidian generator, that's turning lava into obsidian, like normal... Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Check out my PocketMine plugins!

I am wondering the same thing omaremad74. And people simply aren't reading what you are saying. So I'll reword: If I'm on a skyblock server that has no nether access and no access to unlimited lava (so turning lava into obsidian would be of no use) is there another way to make obsidian? I too have been using string to make obi on my skyblock world so losing this bug kinda sucks. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

If you want to make a generator with redstone/string as a sacrifice, that bug was patched in 1.8. I just tested it a few minutes ago. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Go read JJBA and Fairy Tail! Oh, add me on Steam as well!
