I knocked a few of them both out of the sky or right after they landed with tranquilizer arrows and they go unconscious. But they don't eat, none of them. I tried raw meat, raw prime meat, cooked meat, spoiled meat and berries. According to the wiki they prefer raw meat. The food meter drops slowly and I wait and wait. Eventually they go conscious again without the taming bar increasing from 0. I tried it first on patch 187.22 and now again three times on patch 188. I googled around a bit yesterday already and apparently the only bugs that Pteranodons used to have in regards to taming were that the food meter wouldn't drop at all or the XP wouldn't increase.I also tried the "givetome" console command that lets you claim any structure or dino. It does let me claim them and I can also fly them and everything is fine, but they can't gain XP, literally. They don't have an XP bar, it's just not there (or if it is, it's invisible). I would really like to get myself a Pteranodon legit. Did anyone encounter this bug before? If not, I hope it gets looked into.For the record, the taming speed multiplier is at the default value of 1.0, although I tried it with 3.0 and that didn't work as well. Taming some other dinos works (namely Trikes, Stegos, Raptors and Parasaurs). This is the first dino I encounter this with.Thanks in advance! They SHOULD eat when their food reduces by 50.That being said, I honestly am not sure what to do with your situation. Thank you for your answer. Yes, I did give them narcotics. I actually waited out two entire "unconscious bars". By that I mean that I let one of them go almost conscious and then pumped narcotics into the dude to get that bar back up. I believe that it lowers the taming efficiency but that is not a priority for me. In those two bars it didn't eat once and I eventually had to force feed because the food meter was almost running out.I will try verifying game cache now, maybe something that relates to Pteranodons went wrong and got corrupted or so. I hope it works. I had the same issue before on my server the first two times that i tried to tame one. I made sure they don't get close to water. I currently have most of my stuff set up close to the green obelisk and downed a few of them on the cliffs infront of the beaches. Thanks for your input. #5 Slade Wilson Afficher le profil Voir les messages 21 juil. 2015 à 7h18 Mina, I just trained a level 29 Pterandon last week that hit the water and was in about ankle deep water with it's head under the water and it still was able to train and eat meat. I was more afraid of oxygen levels, but they never dropped.
