I don't think I seen either available for purchase, but I'm not sure. Anyone seen either available for purchase? And Marrow Bulb may be randomly in the last item list of a single NPC or trading device out of the space station, so yes, I don't remember having seen it yet but other similar materials or plants like Coprite or Aquaspheres are sometimes shown (rarely though) so in theory it should be possible. But marrow bulbs are not just in caves... Marrow bulbs are available just about everywhere though. Picked up a little over a 1000 units of them. I'm going through a lot of them now in the later game as lots of things need voltaics. I went to a planet that I remember had nice open caves with lots of the bulbs so it wasn't too bad. I'm still trying to get atmospheric processors to work in my game. I did a run that took about an 30min to an hour, and havested about 100 bulbs (@1000 units) which would make about 20 voltaic cells. Is the mission selected? what does the hint that appears in the bottom right say? #12 Wanderer View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2018 @ 11:54am This is one of the few areas in survival mode I find annoying - the harvest amount of marrow/kelp is half of normal mode.
