Is it possible to win chess in 2 moves from the starting of the game ?

In chess, Fool's Mate, also known as the "two-move checkmate", is the checkmate delivered after the fewest possible moves from the game's starting position. It can be achieved only by Black, giving checkmate on the second move with the queen. ... Even among rank beginners, this checkmate rarely occurs in practice.

The shortest win for Black is two moves.

The shortest win for White is three moves.

The shortest traditional checkmate from the traditional starting position is two moves. As mejurist pointed out, not the shortest win though.

Someone can win chess in two moves, one move, or even zero moves.

Panno came to the board and then resigned out of protest about the playing time schedule.

That's not checkmate. That's just check.
