Help required please. I was wondering if there are any printer experts on here ? I had the 1700 code (Ink pads almost full) come up on our Canon MG6650 printer. I removed, cleaned and refitted the pads but cannot find a way to reset the ink pad counter. Tried this .. https://smallbusiness.chron.com/clea...ber-57609.html but it didn't work for me. Pressing the power button makes no difference and it doesn't yet flash eight times. Cheaper to buy a new printer than send it to Canon for service, they only have one outlet in the UK !
