First discovered growing in the wild in the mid-70s on the Hacienda Cara Cara in Venezuela – we are fortunate today Cara Cara Oranges are grown year-round.
Cara Cara Oranges are a premium source of Fiber, Vitamins A and C, along with a good source of folate and potassium. Also, Cara Cara Oranges are a natural source of lycopene.
The Cara Cara Orange is a naturally occurring cross of navel orange varieties that morphed into a hot pink – sweet treat.
