Career Opportunities

Regulating the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore energy industry on behalf of the federal and provincial governments requires special skills, expertise and commitment. The offshore energy industry is highly dynamic with growth and change occurring worldwide driven by developments in new technologies and new systems for offshore exploration and production.

At the C-NLOER, we have a very talented group of professionals who carefully and effectively regulate offshore oil and gas development in line with our organization’s Mandate. The C-NLOER has regulatory responsibility for safety, environmental protection, land sales and exploration, resource management and industrial benefits.
