Carmax decal removal

   I'd like to remove the dealer sticker off of my tail gate. Any ideas how to do it?

   Goo Gone would work the best. You could always a little heat to get a corner and peel it right off.

   Probably better to just take it off yourself. I don't want some dealer to scratch up my vehicle right before it gets turned over to me because they botched removing a decal. It pisses me off though when they affix their dealer logo to the body itself versus the window.

   I can just picture the oil change kid walking over to my new (used) vehicle carrying a single edged razor blade. Agreed. It's a 30 second job to remove the thing and clean the goo.

    I'll do that with license plate frames and hitch receiver covers, but only on stickers if it's on glass. If it's on paint, I'm going to do it myself.

    use your nail to lift an edge then peel the rest off. There will be glue remaining use turtle wax bug and tar. Spray on, let sit for 3 minutes it will wipe right off. Puts goo be gone to shame !
