Cat Surrender Making the decision to rehome or give up your cat is a difficult one. Operation Kindness will provide the resources we have available to accommodate your request.

Please note: Operation Kindness receives more requests than we have the space to accommodate. Submitting this form does not mean we have agreed to accept your cat. If you arrive at the shelter without a confirmed appointment, we will not be able to accept your pet. 

To have your cat considered for intake, please complete this form. Surrender requests are scheduled by appointment for an evaluation, which includes a brief behavior and health assessment. Medical records will be reviewed at the time of surrender. Surrender appointments usually take about 30 minutes. We do not provide pick-up service. Once your appointment is scheduled, please bring your animal in at that time.

Please complete the form below and upload a current photograph for the quickest response. You will receive a response within 48 hours. A surrender fee of $150 per pet or $200 per litter will be requested for animals surrendered to Operation Kindness. This fee helps cover some of the costs associated with caring for an animal until adoption. Reduced fees are available; our team will discuss the process with you if your pet is selected for intake. If you need to return a cat you adopted from Operation Kindness, please complete this form to have your appointment scheduled.
