There is a $6 toll; no fee for parking Island "A" located just after the toll bridge offers pull-in parking only and portable restrooms. No RV parking. Island "B" located after the second bridge offers a mix of pull-in and parallel parking and portable restrooms. No RV parking. Activities include fishing, swimming, picnicking, kayaking, paddle boarding, wind surfing, kite boarding and shelling. No tailgating, however grilling is permitted. Gas grills only, no charcoal or open flames. Leashed pets are welcome. No launching or retrieval of vessels, to include aerial and water crafts. No ground fires permitted. No alcoholic beverages allowed. A Saltwater Fishing License is required to saltwater fish from shore. There is no fee for Florida residents. Pet Waste that is left uncollected degrades water quality. With an estimated 134,000 dogs and 154,000 cats in Lee County, this results in a lot of waste that washes into our waterways increasing bacteria and nutrients.  Beach Wedding Information History ​Located on SR/CR 867, the Causeway Islands are 10-acres of two spoil islands built and used to link the mainland to Sanibel Island. The causeway bisects San Carlos Bay a short distance from the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River, which allows bay and gulf side access. Gallery
